WoW is VERY processor intensive (as Beez and I have shared a few times! Fuck that Dwarf Town!) ... The new patch should really help people with issues in IF. The three AH's are all now linked into one. So you can just use Stormwind or Darnauss. Probably won;t be on until Thursday, bowl games kicking my ass this week

Had two MAJOR problems last night ...
Logged on to play WoW, got the patch update (takes forever) and then was told my trial had expired (fuckers). I knew it was going to, but I REALLY figured what with a monthly subscription fee it was in their best interest to keep me playing and offer a discounted key. I mean shit, I already had the game installed, I don't need the discs.
But no.
No discount, no nothing. Just a screen telling me to go buy the game and use its key to continue. 'FUCK YOU WoW' I thought, I'll go play BF2!
So I go into my living room, take the tv from my wife and turn on my Xbox where I had been playing BF2 the night before. Only there's no disc in the tray. My 1 1/2 year old son is at the same height as my consoles and he loves to push buttons and wander off with discs if I leave them in there. Which is what happened here.
Only this time when I find it (after 20 minutes of searching) it's been bent and forced into a little narrow wooden box thing on my living room coffee table. And has now added a HUGE AND DEEP scratch to the silver side (it already had so many from previous 1 1/2 year old adventures it was nearly ruined) and after multiple attempts at repair would only render DREs for me.
So, no fucking WoW, no fucking BF2. I was mad as hell.
I had to go by Target this morning on the way to work to pick up some stuff for a shoot next week and decided to re-buy BF2 (fuck WoW I thought) ... Only they didn't have BF2. So I broke down and bought WoW afterall.
I'll have to go trade some shit in (still haven't returned SOCOM III) tonight and get BF2 back at GameRush ...
Fuckers.

I was wondering if The Barrens is a horde town or something because my dad has to go there with his warlock to get his new creature thing, I think its called a sucubus or something. He had to run all the way there from IF because he didn't have any flightpaths, only to get there and see horde guards guarding the entrance to the place, so in order to save himself he had to send his voidwalker after the guard so it would kill his void giving him enough time to run away. But sending his void after the guard flagged him for PvP, so a keeps running back down the road to Astranaar, and stops to ask a guy if there was any SAFE way of entering The Barrens, so the guy sits there and down the path in the background I see a horde player, so he trys to run but the guy casts one spell on him and he was dead. It was really funny, but I feel bad for him because he ran all that way only to get owned by an undead priest lol. So I'm sure one of you guys know a SAFE way of getting into The Barrens.

LOL, hehe, what lv is he? If he is like 15-20 then he was going the right way but he just took the wrong path to the Barrens. He has to stay left and there is a side path around that horde village, i know cause i went there around lv13 to meet up with Savior. At that lv range he should be able to run in the Barrens no problem. the other way he can go is sort of a pain in the ass. He can hit Westfall and swim down to Booty Bay then all he has to do is take a boat to Ratchet and he is right in the Barrens.

I should have known. Installed everything, including the newest patches.
Now, when I get to the start up screen the torches are on each side, but the whole screen flashes with these brilliantly colored lines.
I don't know what's going on at this point, as I believe all my drivers are updated. Not sure what to make of it.

Alright all set.
I need to know what style to play though, because I don't know if that is going to give me a different server or not.

My guy is named Belfour. He is a human mage. I just with what I'm usually in one of these games. I like spell casting, so that's what I picked.

Short Message: Got Wow, getting rid of FFXI, hope my comp handles it well. If you don't have at least 1gig of RAM, I would upgrade. RAM is pretty cheap. See how things go for a bit outside the big cities. When you get to Ironforge, the real test begins.

Well, with the expansion coming, the Horde and the Alliance are joining forces and we are being asked to help the war effort.
Ahn'Qiraj War Effort
Check around Ironforge for quests asking you to turn in materials ranging from Light Leather to Spotted Yellowtail. I think you turn in 20 of each item at a time and these repeatable quests cause the number of each item is really high, in the thousands I believe.
This should be interesting
